I am Coach Ty! I'm a passionate basketball coach who loves helping players reach their full potential on and off the court.

As a coach, my goal is to inspire and motivate my players to become the best versions of themselves. I aim to develop their skills, build their confidence, and foster a strong team spirit. Together, we'll strive for victory while emphasizing sportsmanship and personal growth.

Grew up in the heart of college basketball’s “Tobacco Road”. Graduated from North Carolina State University in 1997, and have coached youth basketball in different capacities since then. Currently reside in Seminole and excited to share my love and knowledge of basketball with the PHS family.

I am Coach B. I played basketball at the college level, competing for Iowa Lakes Community College and Dakota Wesleyan University, in addition to participating in football. Currently, I am serving as a middle school teacher and Athletic Director at SLAM! Tampa. I entered into coaching after graduating college in 2018 and have three years of coaching experience at Northside Christian School in St. Pete and two years at SLAM! Tampa. I am a skill development trainer and currently hold the role of Co-Director at PHS Girls and Boys Basketball.

Jermaine is a passionate basketball coach, dedicated husband, and loving father. With a profound commitment to both his family and the sport of basketball, Jermaine brings a unique blend of leadership, discipline, and compassion to every aspect of his life.

Coaching Experience:

As a seasoned basketball coach, Jermaine has 11 years of training, 5 years coaching experience coaching at various levels, from 7 years old AAU to Varsity High School Basketball Team. His coaching philosophy revolves around instilling values of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship in his players, both on and off the court.
